The Buy to Let market in the northern Costa Blanca is currently very strong.  Recent statistics show that the towns of Moraira and Javea are the most popular villa holiday rental destinations in Europe, ahead of France, Portugal and Italy.

With banks offering up to 80% ‘Loan to Value’ mortgages, rental yields often exceed financing costs and annual maintenance charges, leaving the investor to enjoy a self-financing asset, a little profit and the use of a wonderful property.

With steady capital growth, currently between 8% and 10%, assets appreciate in value, year on year.  In time, equity can be released to further expand the property portfolio.  While Costa Blanca properties top the Spanish league table in terms of ratio between rental income and property prices, selection criteria for the right property at the right price is critical.
